¶ Package Includes
The olixBot™ OWL1 package includes a head-mounted VR display, a pair of VR controllers, and the robot unit itself, which is equipped with dual cameras that can rotate to follow the user’s line of sight.
¶ Hardware Overview
The olixBot™ OWL1 is equipped with a dual-camera stereo vision system that simulates the perspective of human eyes, enabling an immersive and natural way to observe the surrounding environment through VR. By delivering synchronized binocular video to the headset, users can experience a realistic sense of depth and spatial awareness.
The OWL1 can also be mounted on other mobile robotic platforms. When integrated with a mobile robot, the system allows users to remotely explore and monitor environments with a first-person perspective, providing enhanced telepresence and situational awareness.
